DIANE A.S. STUCKART a/k/a
ANNA GERARD and ALI BRANDON
January 1957-November 2025
Obituary
Diane A. S. Stuckart, 68, of Loxahatchee, Florida, passed away on November 30, 2025, after a long illness. She was born on January 28, 1957, in Lubbock, Texas, to Helen and Gene Smart.

Diane spent her professional life working as a purchasing agent, but her true passions were many: caring for animals, beekeeping, exploring the supernatural, collecting unique treasures, and writing. A gifted storyteller, she became a New York Times Bestselling Published Author, a distinction that brought her great joy and connected her with readers around the world.
In every group or community she joined, Diane’s warmth, curiosity, and steady presence quickly led others to seek her out for leadership. She had a natural ability to bring people together, make them feel welcome, and quietly guide with generosity and grace. She was known for her kindness, humor, creativity, and boundless spirit.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 46 years, Gerard “Gerry” Stuckart; her beloved fur babies—Winston, Nina, Ophelia, Harley, and Newt; her sister, Valerie Smart Shoup; and her brothers, David, Tom, and Paul Smart.
Diane will be laid to rest in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, beside her mother and father.

A Celebration of Life was held in January in West Palm Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a no-kill animal shelter, the gift of a teddy bear to a children’s charity or planting a bee-friendly tree in her memory.
